8 Types of Newspaper Reader


Everyone in this world does read newspaper. Newspapers are your daily news feed about the current world; it enhances your general knowledge and helps to improve your language.

But then, here we are talking about every person who reads newspaper and every person is not same. Everyone is different and so their traits. Therefore everyone have their own way to read newspapers.
Here are some 8 types of newspaper reader I noticed around me.
Let’s start.

1) Sports Lovers:


People who play sports do have interests in sports affairs too. Not only people who play sports, but also people who watch sports on TV have sports part as their favorite part of the newspaper. They read only the sports part, rest is waste for them.

2) Politics Lovers:


Generally our father and mother are the one who comes into this category. They read every political news, no matter national or international news, they have to read them all. Well if you find any teenager reading these political news then either he is really interested or he has a competitive exam coming (Generally IAS students), because political news cover 70-80% of these exams.

3) Crime News Reader:


Yes, criminals do love this section, but there are many people around who likes to read this section too. But nowadays crime section of some newspapers carries much stupid news. “XYZ stole 2 litre milk from his/her auntie’s house. Therefore his aunty forcefully made XYZ smell her husband’s dirty socks.” No, not at least this stupid, just a silly example. But then there are some real crimes happening and only some of them are printed (Well, no comments on that).

4) Newspaper Eater:


No, wait, don’t take this heading literally. Obviously no one eats a newspaper. People under this category are the one, who reads every news. From A to Z, they know everything printed on the paper. These people because of their habit do gain a good knowledge too. Generally old members of our house comes under this category (They are knowledgeable).

5) Celebrity News Reader:


People under this category (generally girls), are very keen to know what is happening in the glamour world. They don’t care what else is there in newspapers. They straight away open the Celeb Part and read everything in it. They can also be called as Celeb Stalkers.

6) Advertisements Readers:  


There are some people I know that like to go through advertisements in the newspapers. They see car ads, plot on sale ads, job offers, mobile ads and other ads and then they......................................... do nothing, close the paper and keep it. They don’t want a car, plot and mobile, nor they are in search of jobs, but they like to go through ads so they do it (as simple as that).

7) Scientific Readers:


Generally science students and science loving people, read the science section. These people are very keen to know what’s new in this technology oriented world. Though it is good thing to be updated with modern science, but then newspaper carry many more interesting things too (well everyone have their own likes).

8) Stock Readers:



Now here come the people who are connected to the commerce world. Chartered Accountants, Shareholders, Businessmen and Investors are some people who like to read the stock section. It is actually part of their work. These people have to be updated about stocks, before they invest.

When I went for a Morning Walk So I am not a fan of morning walks. I mean who is (except RS...). Morning walk s, walking in morning, really? Was it the reason I was born? NO!! BUT, YESS!!
